The RMS Queen Mary sailed the North Atlantic from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard-White Star Line. Along with RMS Queen Elizabeth, she was built as part of Cunard's planned two-ship weekly express service between Southampton, Cherbourg and New York. With the outbreak of the Second World War, Queen Mary was converted into a troopship and ferried Allied soldiers during the conflict.

Hand cast pewter ships, enamel and graphite on tin. Provided with a perspex display case designed to be placed on a flat surface.
